Charity & Community Support
AnimeCon.org is very happy to give back to the communities in which we host events, by supporting local groups, and charities that are important to our hearts.
Charity Support
After careful consideration and deliberation, AnimeCon.org decided to commit it's charity giving efforts to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. And no one is turned away for being unable to pay. Ten percent of all income from our Date Auction and 100% of income from any charities auctions will go to St. Jude. We are very excited to support them.
Community Support
We like to support community organizations and educators. For example, full-time teachers get in for free to any of our events. We are very happy to support the community, and we would like to hear from you about your support ideas. Some examples of our support:
- Free admission to youth center disadvantaged youth programs
- Free shirts to disadvantaged youth
- Free admission for full time teachers
- Support of charity raffles with free passes to raffle
